Saudi gender roles and everyday life are being redefined as you read this. I feel like talking about it, in English, so it can be read in the furthest reaches of the planet. There is more to me than what exists within the domestic sphere and that’s what I’m trying to maintain through this dialogue with the world. Oh my goodness, Saadeddin used to make the most awesome cakes and pastries. My birthday cake was always ordered from Saadeddin....
Gosh, going through your blog is bringing back so many memories of Saudi Arabia...
OMG,am drooling already and it's about 2hrs before iftaar ;) sf
apyasmom- Saadeddin can get a little pricey, now there's a lot of smaller spin-off bakeries with good stuff in them too. But I needed cheesecake in a big, bad, way today!
S- it was almost painful. Since I've been a mom, fasting doesn't faze me since I've even had to hold food up to my lips to test the temperature before feeding my kids. Today though, my-oh-my!
hehe we don't have that in Jeddah :D
but we have Goodies and their cupcakes Oh My Days their cupcakes(faint)
Assalam alaykum..
